Walt Disney Studios wordt vertegenwoordigd door:
Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment verantwoordelijk voor de sales, marketing en distributie van dvd’s met films van de Walt Disney Studios als ook tv-series zoals Lost, Greys Anatomy en Desperate House Wives.
Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures verantwoordelijk voor de marketing, sales en distributie van biscoop films afkomstig uit de The Walt Disney Studios of aanverwante studios zoals Touchstone, Miramax en Pixar (bv. Pirates of the Carribean, Wall.E en Enchanted)
Consumer Products is vertegenwoordigd door diverse product groepen zoals Toys, Apparel, Accessories and Footwear, Publishing, Home & Infant, Stationary en Food Health and Beauty.

Parks & Resorts is vertegenwoordig door een sales en marketing team met als doelstelling Disneyland Parks & Resorts te promoten via de reisorganisaties in Nederland en Belgie.


Vacature informatie:

This position is created to give students an opportunity to experience day to day accounting procedures and atmosphere within a large international company as Walt Disney.
An intern will be part of the Shared Accounting Services team based in Hoofddorp who provides the accounting services for all Lines of Business in the Benelux region.


Werkzaamheden:
General Area’s of responsibilities (not limited to):

1.Assisting the accountants in their close procedures including
- pulling the reports from the system
- identifying the accruals for the quarter end
- monthly and quarterly BS reconciliations
- preparing supporting documentation
- Assuring the closing binders are in compliance with the SOX controls (completeness and sign offs)

2.Ad hoc projects including
- Research Open Item Managed accounts (OIM)
- Assistance with the Efficiency Projects
- 4 box model and units reconciliations concerning European Supply Chain Organization (ESCO)

3.Accounts Payable assistance
- Audit invoices
- Support casual buyers

4.Miscellaneous
- Preparing information as requested by the auditors for statutory audits and signatures
- Periodical archiving of both hardcopy and softcopy
- Administration of the Journal entries paperwork
- Checking off the journal entry log


Wij bieden:

Functie-eisen:
Wij zoeken: Education: A university student following a study in accounting or finance

Experience: No need

Language: Fluency English is a must (oral and written)

Computer: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
